Update from Ireland: Run4Zimbabwe
Our European friends got their Irish trek underway on June 7th. They pushed off from Mizen Head, Ireland’s furthest southwestern point. After nearly a full week of adventure, longboarding, and advocacy, the fellas are resting in Galway with friends. There has been great publicity surrounding their month-long boarding tour across Ireland, including coverage by Galway’s Bay FM.
If you’re wondering what this is all about, it’s quite simple really: European friends, Alex, Raif, Alfred and Peter, are “running” their longboards the length of Ireland to raise awareness about Zimbabwe’s crisis and raise support for EF’s partners at Albert Street School. Creative, fun and just down right awesome!
