Youth Education Training

Based in the rural town of Kadoma, Youth Education Training (Y.E.T.) provides educational access to disadvantaged Zimbabwean youth. The organization was founded and run by four passionate Zimbabweans who believe education is a necessary vehicle for community empowerment.

The Elias Fund first began a relationship with Y.E.T. in 2007, allocating a small $500 grant for the educational empowerment of 17 students in both primary and secondary school. That number has since grown to 29 students. Y.E.T is currently looking into income generating activities that will move their organization closer to self-sustainability.
