Partner Overview

As a grassroots organization, the Elias Fund focuses on indigenous empowerment to alleviate poverty from the bottom-up. This happens through strategic partnerships with Zimbabwean community organizations. EF is currently partnered with three passionate Zimbabwean organizations that are creatively addressing the needs of their specific communities. EF’s assistance for these partners comes through micro-grants and relational support. Here’s a quick look at our partners:pic_0179
  • Elias Foundation Trust: Located in rural Chiredzi, EFT operates a food aid outreach, university scholarships for community youth, and a micro-agricultural training program that increases crop yielding by over 300%.
  • Youth Education Training (Y.E.T.): Based in the city of Kadoma, Y.E.T. provides educational access to disadvantaged Zimbabwean youth from the city’s high-density areas. Y.E.T is also exploring income-generating activities to support self-sustainability.
  • Albert Street School: Albert Street School was founded by Zimbabwean refugees for Zimbabwean refugees to provide educational opportunities for children under 18 in Johannesburg, South Africa.
