Ndini Dzidzo: I am Education
For the last five years, the Elias Fund has achieved its mission of spreading hope and opportunity in Zimbabwe through grassroots fundraising by individuals just like you. Many of you have utilized your school in your fundraising efforts. With support from elementary schools to universities, we have seen over 500 Zimbabwe refugee students educated in Johannesburg, twenty-seven primary and secondary students granted scholarships in Kadoma, and three university students awarded grants from Chiredzi.
This school year we want to make school-based fundraising even more successful!
Ndini Dzidzo means “I am Education” and just as you have shown that you are Strong, now it’s time to show that you are Education. From today until September 1st, we will be accepting applications for official Ndini Dzidzo school groups. These groups are designed for you to be a leader within your school community whether you are a teacher, student, coach, etc. Ndini Dzidzo groups will benefit from direct access to the Elias Fund team and a personalized connection to students in Zimbabwe. Yet because of this level of in-depth involvement there is limited space available for Ndini Dzidzo groups so fill out your application today.
If you’ve ever thought you could host a simple fundraiser at your school or wanted to advocate on behalf of Zimbabwe and the Elias Fund to your school community, now is the time to act. Even if you have no idea on where to start, fill out our simple application. Jill, EF’s Outreach Coordinator, will contact you about the possibilities we have available for you and your school.
