Ohio Elias Festival

Our Friends in South Point, Ohio recently held their second annual day of festivities on behalf of the Elias Fund and our family in Zimbabwe. The day was filled with a 5k run, 3 v 3 soccer tournament, 3 v3 basketball tournament, hot dog eating contest, corn hole tournament {gotta love the midwest :) } and a concert filled with local musicians to to wrap up the day. The South Point community came together to raise over $1,500 for the Elias Fund which was just sent over to Zimbabwe to cover this terms school fees and living expenses for over 20 of our students in Zimbabwe!! Many thanks to David Theiss, who has organized the past two years events and everyone else in South Point for coming out and supporting th cause. We can’t wait for next year’s midwest Elias Festival!!

    The Festival was a ton of fun in the sun if ya like to run…..and do a lot of other stuff.

    Expect next years to grow and be 10x as big!
